Nikolaya Gyurova graduates from the Bachelor program “Fashion” at New Bulgarian University and continues with Master’s degree “Fashion and Business Strategies” at the same university.
Men’s fashion and manipulation of fabrics have always been the subject of research for her, as it seen in her first collection.
The last topic to focus on is unisex clothing. With developments, it aims to show that non-sex-specific clothes allow the person to emphasize masculinity or femininity depending on the situation. She blends formally with sportswear and begins experimenting with brighter colors in search of harmony in design. As a designer she follows the principle that clothes should be not only aesthetic but also functional. So directs her research to the idea of transforming the garment itself, where its multifunctionality is used.
